With respect to cyber crimes, in the recent times, the risks faced by enterprises have multiplied. Continuous evolution of intrusion techniques has made the task of ensuring network security increasingly difficult in spite of becoming all the more critical. The two widely prevalent network security systems are Firewalls and Intrusion Detection / Prevention System (IDS / IPS).
